I PURCHASED A SUBSCRIPTION AS A GIFT - WHEN WILL THE RECIPIENT BE NOTIFIED?

Whether your subscription will automatically renew was a setting you chose at checkout. If you don’t remember setting this to notify them immediately, they have not been notified yet but will be when the first box ships via the email you provided for them.


If you did not provide an email address for them, your email will be notified when the first box ships. If you need to add their email address, please reach out to us via support@cowboyandcricket.com. Please make sure to include the REFERENCE NUMBER for the order in your email.

WHEN WILL THE FIRST BOX SHIP?

Boxes ship during the first week of the month. We do not ship them as the orders come in. Therefore, no matter when you purchase your subscription box, you will be shipped your first box the first week of next month.

WHEN WILL I (OR THE RECIPIENT) GET TO PICK A SCENT? HOW DOES THIS WORK?

For subscriptions that include “choose your scent,” the subscriber will get an email on the first of the month to choose their scent. The subscriber will be able to pick from any of the next three months’ scents, as well as anything in our signature line. The email will include a link to a google form that can be filled out to inform us of the subscriber's desired scent.


If we do not receive a response within 48 hours of sending the scent selection email, the subscriber will receive the Scent of the Month.


If the subscriber has a “double” subscription (2 candles or 2 melts) they will get one scent of the month and one random scent from our current stock.

WILL THE SUBSCRIPTION AUTOMATICALLY RENEW?

This was a setting chosen at checkout. If you can't remember what you chose, you can go to https://cowboy-cricket-candle-co.cratejoy.com/customer/login and login. Your subscription(s) will be listed down the left hand side, including a note on each that says Type — here it will either say “Will Renew” or “Will Not Renew.” If you'd like to change the setting, please reach out to us via support@cowboyandcricket.com. Please make sure to include the REFERENCE NUMBER for the order in your email.

HOW CAN I CHANGE MY PAYMENT METHOD?

To change your payment method, go to https://cowboy-cricket-candle-co.cratejoy.com/customer/login and login. Scroll down until you see the section titled Credit Cards. Here you will need to select Add and set up a new card. After you have added your new card, you will see a checkbox allowing you to update your card for all new subscriptions. Select this if you want.


If you only want to change the payment method for one subscription, you will need to select Edit on that subscription and update your payment method via the Change button.

CAN I SKIP A MONTH OF MY SUBSCRIPTION?

If you'd like to skip a month of your subscription, go to https://cowboy-cricket-candle-co.cratejoy.com/customer/login and login. Your subscription(s) will be listed down the left hand side. Select Edit for the subscription you want. If (and only if) your subscription is set to automatically renew, you will see a button in the upper left that says Skip Next Renewal.

WHEN DOES MY SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRE?

To check on this, go to https://cowboy-cricket-candle-co.cratejoy.com/customer/login and login. Your subscription(s) will be listed down the left-hand side, including a note on each that says Expires On and provides a date.

HOW CAN I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

If you would like to skip your next renewal: go to https://cowboy-cricket-candle-co.cratejoy.com/customer/login and login. Your subscription(s) will be listed down the left hand side. Select Edit for the subscription you want. If (and only if) your subscription is set to automatically renew, you will see a button in the upper left that says Skip Next Renewal.


If you would like to cancel after your current subscription ends (AKA make sure it does not renew): Whether your subscription will automatically renew was a setting you chose at checkout. Your subscription(s) will be listed down the left hand side, including a note on each that says Type -- here it will either say “Will Renew” or “Will Not Renew.” To change this, please reach out to us via support@cowboyandcricket.com. Please make sure to include the REFERENCE NUMBER for the order in your email.


If you would like to cancel and receive a refund: We’re sorry you’re not happy with your box! Please email support@cowboyandcricket.com to cancel and receive a refund. Please make sure to include the REFERENCE NUMBER for the order in your email. We are only able to refund you for the cost of unshipped goods unless this is your first box, in which case we can offer you a full refund. So for example if you signed up for 12 month pre-pay: if you cancel before your second box is shipped, we can give you a full refund. If you cancel any time after that, you will be refunded proportionate to the cost of unshipped goods.
